Network predicts 40 new stores

With the goal of reaching 40 new stores this year, Drugstore Araujo has already opened 16 units.
The last inauguration took place on September 3, with the second store of the chain in Varginha, Minas Gerais. From May to August, three points of sale were installed in the mining city of Betim, in addition to the first branches in the municipalities of Pouso Alegre, Arcos, Oliveira, Alfenas and Itaúna, among others in the capital of Minas Gerais and the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte.
The network expansion plan for 2020 has been maintained, despite the pandemic, and plans to reach new markets in the interior of Minas Gerais and expand its presence in cities where it is already present.
With a 14% growth in sales in the first half, Drogaria Araujo operates more than 200 stores.
