Fort Wholesaler inaugurates its 40th unit

Fort Wholesale continues its expansion plan by opening another store in Santa Catarina, this time in the city of São Bento do Sul, in the north of the state. The opening took place yesterday (27). This is the 40th unit of Fort, flag of Pereira Group, which with this store reaches the mark of 78 business units in Brazil - the group also manages other retail brands such as Comper and Atacado Bate Forte. R$ 30 million were invested in the project. Between direct and indirect jobs, 400 new jobs were created. "It is with great joy that we inaugurate this beautiful store in São Bento do Sul, a prosperous city with a strong economy and a working people. At a time like the one we live with, with great challenges for the economy ahead, it is even more satisfying to be able to generate jobs and income, moving the region's economy," said João Pereira, the group's vice president of trade. Opening hours will be Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and on Sundays from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. As in all units of Fort Wholesaler, in this store will be followed to the letter the hygiene and safety determinations of the competent agencies, without measuring efforts to ensure the health of customers and employees. Preventive measures include: limiting the number of customers within the store, restricting to 50% of capacity; cleaning of baskets and carts at the entrance of the shops; acrylic plates in the boxes, protecting operators; use of masks by all (customers and employees) inside the store; strengthening of hygiene and cleaning procedures in the sales, administrative and inventory areas; demarcation on the floor for greater removal of customers in the queues of the cashiers, as well as at the entrance of the stores. São Bento do Sul will also be one of the next cities to receive a unit of the pharmacy Fort Wholesaler, which will work attached to the store, as well as in the cities of Chapecó, Palhoça and Criciúma, later this year. There is no confirmed opening date.
