Controller of Riachuelo Profits R $1.2 Billion

The Guararapes, controller of the fashion retailer Riachuelo, recorded a net profit of RS $1.2 billion in 2018, high of 2.1 times in about 2017. Revenue in the period amounted to $7.2 billion, R growth of 11.6%. Ebitda increased by 43.1%, to $1.7 billion. In the fourth quarter of last year, the Group obtained a net profit of RS $1 billion, three times the value R $327 million in the same period to 2017. The total revenue with sale of goods had growth of 3.4%, to R $1.6 billion, with same-store sales, considering the results of units in operation for more than a year, growing 0.9%. In 2018, the Riachuelo opened 11 stores and closed a activities, totaling 312 units.
