Construction Industry Sales Fall in February

Industry sales of building materials fell 2.5% in February, compared with the same month last year. This is the second consecutive month of declines for the industry. Already in the last 12 months, until February, sales accumulated growth of 0.3%. The data are from the Brazilian Association of the industry of building materials (Abramat). The number of people employed in the national industry of materials also retreated to 0.4% in February, but saves 1.5% rise in the last 12 months. Despite the low at the beginning of the year, the Abramat keeps your close 2019 projection with growth of 2% compared to 2018.
