Company Follows Growth Strategy

JBS, in a statement, announces the acquisition of Frigorífico Marba, the cold and embedded segment of the State of São Paulo. The company has an annual turnover of about R$ 350 million. According to JBS, the investment is in line with the company's strategy of expanding the participation of higher value-added products and brands in its portfolio. The consummation of the operation is subject to the approval of the Brazilian competition authority, among other conditions that are usual for this type of operation.
