Bradesco's profit rises to R $19 billion in 2018

Bradesco announced on Thursday (31) have recorded accounting net income of R $5.08 billion in the fourth quarter of 2018, a high of 1.4% compared to the previous three months. Already in last year, the Bank's profit hit R $19.085 billion, representing a growth of 30.19% in comparison to 2017 (R $14.659 billion). Already the recurrent net income (which disregards the extraordinary effects) was R $5.83 billion in Q4 (high of 6.6%), adding R $21.564 billion in 2018 (high of 19.9%). The return on shareholders ' equity, an indicator of the profitability of banks, reached 19.7% in the fourth quarter. The loan portfolio expanded the Bradesco R $531.6 billion in December, with a high of 7.8% compared to the previous year, driven by the lines for individuals, which grew 11% in the year. The default rate above 90 days stood at 3.51 percent, up from 3.63 percent in September and 4.7% at the end of 2017. On the eve, Santander reported a profit of RS $12.16 billion in 2018.
