Coca-Cola launches coffee-flavored version in Brazil

Attentive to the Brazilian palate, Coca-Cola announced that it started selling around the coffee-flavored version of your primary coolant. According to the company, the new product will be part of the fixed portfolio of the brand in Brazil.
The drink, which bears the name of Coca-Cola Plus Espresso Coffee, will have 40% more caffeine in relation to original Coke, and 50% less sugar. The packaging will be in 220 ml cans, which according to the brand meets the objective of offering units with smaller sizes.
The Brazil will be one of the first countries to launch the product, after markets such as Japan, Australia and Viet Nam. "But here, brings a combination designed specifically for the Brazilian palate", reinforces the brand.
"We researched a lot to reach a well balanced taste, inspired by the espresso, characteristic of one of the most favorite and traditional ways of preparing coffee in the world", stated in note Selman Careaga, Vice President of marketing for Coca-Cola Brazil.
Champion in coffee consumption
According to data from Euromonitor International, Brazil leads the total consumption of coffee in the world, with more than 1 million tons in 2017. The country overcomes the United States, which consumed 951,000 tonnes of litres in the same year, and Indonesia, with 710,000 liters.
