Footwear producers estimate that half of the work force is idle with strike

Approximately 32% of planned shipments of shoes were not realized, which corresponds, according to the Association, a month of industry activity. Everything is stuck in warehouses, waiting for the release of roads and labor for transport. Damage surveys were made among the main companies producing shoes, representatives of 70% of the industry's annual production, according to Abicalçados.
