E-commerce of Sao Paulo Bill R Bi $4.19

E-commerce in São Paulo presented a turnover of R $4.19 billion in the third quarter of 2017, discounting the value of inflation during the period. The value means a growth of 19.2%, compared to the same period in 2016 which had R $3.51 billion. This value was the highest ever recorded since the year of 2013. The survey was conducted by the Federation of trade in goods, services and tourism of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP), together with the Ebit. According to the entity, in the third quarter of 2017, participation of e-commerce retail sales in São Paulo is with a percentage of 2.7%. Compared to the year 2016, there were 0.3 percentage points high, since the percentage was 2.4%. The number of purchases made through e-commerce in the State of São Paulo, had a growth of 13.5% and went from 9.2 million to 10.4 million, considered the second largest volume in history this quarter. According to evaluation, e-commerce sales grew 30% in July, 25% in August and 3.9% in September compared to the year 2016.
