Medicines must be Reset to 4.45%

The annual adjustment of prices of medicines in 2019 should stay around 4.45%, value that considers inflation. The projection was made by the pharmaceutical industry Union in the State of São Paulo (Sindusfarma), after the Executive Secretary of the Board of market regulation of Medicines (CMED) disclose, for next year, the value of 0.0% X-factor component of the price adjustment formula that tries to predict the productivity in the pharmaceutical industry. Already the Y Factor, which analyzes the relative price adjustment between sectors, to be published in February 2019.
