McDonald's will invest R $1 billion in Brazil until 2019

SÃO PAULO-Arcos Dorados, largest independent McDonald's franchise and brand operator in 20 countries of Latin America and Caribbean, today announced that it will invest R $1 billion in Brazil between this year and 2019. The resources will be allocated to the opening of new restaurants and acceleration of the modernization plans of existing units.
The amount represents the bulk of $ $500 million (R $1.566 billion, the price of today) that will be invested in all the countries of Latin America, with the opening of approximately 180 restaurants and the upgrade of McDonald's in the region.
