Isoeste sold to Kingspan

The Irish company Kingspan, specializing in insulation in construction, bought 51% of the brazilian Isoeste, which is based in Goiás but with units in four other States (Paraná, Mato Grosso, Pará and Pernambuco). With 630 employees and six units, the company is one of the leaders in the segment of insulating panels, supplying the entire Brazil and Latin America. It is estimated that the revenues of Isoeste in 2017 up to 500 million reais.
The acquisition is the third step in the recent expansion project of Kingspan about Latin America. This year the company had already bought 51% of Colombian Panelmet, also of the insulating panels, and inaugurated a new production unit of this material in Mexico. Now owns Isoeste, the Kingspan should assume the leading role in the region and still allow for future expansion, and the company admits to still be capable of significant new acquisitions.
The project global growth of Irish company has no target only in America; recently a new Office was opened in Singapore and the position of the company is making the Pacific region another focus of investment. According to the regional Board of the Kingspan, future expansion should reach Africa.
The Kingspan is one of the world leaders in isothermal and solutions of energy conservation focused on construction. The partnership will boost the increment of use materials such as EPS, PUR and PIR in construction of Brazil, what already occurs in other regions of the world to a greater degree. The expectation is to consolidate the work of Isoeste in the construction sector, which is already served by the company and will gain greater momentum.
