BRF will invest $80 mi in new distribution center in Paraná

SAO PAULO-the BRF will invest 80 million reais in the construction of a new distribution center in Londrina, Paraná, creating about 600 jobs directly and indirectly, reported on Thursday the food company.
The company''s forecast is that the works are completed by September 2018.
"The space will be designed to receive up to 150 trucks a day, of different sizes, that will move up to 15000 tonnes of food per month," said the BRF in note.
According to the company, the new Center will occupy an area of more than 150,000 square meters and will be used for the storage of products of the brands Perdigão and Sadia, Qualy, streamlining the service to municipalities in the West of São Paulo, in the South of Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraná.
Currently, the BRF already operates seven plants and two distribution centers in the State of Paraná, employing more than 17000 employees in the region.
