IPO of Carrefour R bi $4.9

In a statement to CVM (Brazilian Securities Commission), the Carrefour Brazil reported on Wednesday night (23/8) that hit 297,140,000 initial public offering of common shares, plus additional stock 34,360,000, R $15 price per share, resulting in an amount of R $4.972 billion.
Foreign investors took nearly 65% of the total, equivalent to 215,159,000. Following, were hedge funds highlight, with 102,511,000 shares, or 30.9%, and individuals, with 14,383,000, or 4.3%. Other financial institutions have acquired 3,021,000 (0.91%) and private pension entities, 2,299,000 (0.7%).
In total, were subscribed (or acquired) 331,513,000 actions, including in this volume the roles granted to the stabilizer (J.P. Morgan), which acts to avoid further variations in price after the IPO. A total of 34.3 million of shares loaned to staff were initially allocated and not repurchased.
