McDonald''s profit Advances to US $ $1.4 Billion

McDonald''s reported, on Tuesday (25), which recorded a net profit of $ $1.40 billion in the second quarter, or $ $1.70 per share, above the result of $ $1.09 billion, or $ $1.25 per share, retrieved from the same period in 2016. The company''s revenue stood at $ $6.05 billion in the second quarter of the current year, a retreat against the US $6.27 billion registered in the same period last year. Global sales at the same stores had growth of 6.6%, while sales at the same stores in the USA advanced 3.9%. The company attributed the result in same store sales to a promotion of cold drinks that occurred during the last quarter and also the launch of a new line of sandwiches.
