Beer can change color when exposed to sunlight

In a highly competitive market and marked by the presence of strong brands, such as beers, packaging has enormous importance. "We did a survey that shows that one of the main factors that influence the consumer in your purchasing decision process is the '' packaging that stands out ''," explained Garrick Frittelli, marketing manager for Coors Light in Canada, announcing the launch of a special edition of the brand packaged in aluminum cans (355 milliliters and 473 milliliters) decorated with thermochromic inks (which react to temperature) and fotocrômicas (which change when exposed to light).
Six different arts, containing variations of geometric designs inspired by the iconic shape of the mountain brand feature.
The project, in partnership with the Crown Beverage Packaging North America, aims to stimulate the outdoor product consumption in the Canadian summer, by which time the beverage consumption in the country comes to quadruple. "The Canadian summer is short, and people take advantage to the fullest the period available outdoors," says Frittelli. "Special inks give life to cans, revealing bright colors when exposed to sunlight." The more cold ones are packaging, more emphasis has the effect.
