The entrepreneur confidence index rises in November

For the fourth consecutive time, the merchant of the city of São Paulo has shown more confidence in accordance with the ICEC (entrepreneur confidence index of trade), which recorded high of 2 percent in November, to move from 107.5 points in October to 109.7 points in the current month. It's the highest score since March 2014. Compared to the previous year, the ICEC advanced 14.1%. In companies with more than 50 employees, the recoil was 3.5%, from 115.3 points in October to 111.2 points in November. In the annual comparison, both small as large companies had registered growth in confidence, of 14.2% and 11.4%, respectively.

According to the Economic Advisory FecomercioSP the perception of entrepreneurs shows that the recovery process will become gradually. The prospects for Christmas sales are around 5% growth this year, which, if confirmed, can leverage the indicators with a view to 2018.
