Aurora Announces 10% increase in the daily slaughter of pigs until end of year

SAO PAULO (Reuters)-the food producer Dawn, the country''s third-largest group in the area of meat, announced on Monday that it will expand into 10% daily slaughter of pigs until the end of this year, amid plans to expand the company''s production.
"The increase in production will allow to optimize the plants with small investments to meet the demands of the domestic and foreign markets," said Aurora''s Operations Manager, Celso Cappellaro, in a note.
With the move, the group will shoot down 19,825 pigs daily, compared with 18000 currently. The goal is to reach 25000 pigs per day in 2025, said the company.
The company also provides a total of about 4,720,000 slaughter of animals this year, up almost 4% before 2016, a year marked by encareceram production factors, such as high-dollar and shortage of maize.
