AmBev has adjusted net income of bi R$3,237 in Q3

SÃO PAULO-Ambev had adjusted net profit of 3.237 billion dollars in the third quarter, more than the 1,2% recorded in the same quarter of last year, according to the organic growth of Ebitda and a reduction in financial expenses, said in this company Thursday.
The result exceeded the average expectation of analysts ears by Reuters for a profit of 2.64 billion reais.
Without adjustments, the net income fell 95,7% to 136.5 million reais.
The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) was adjusted to 4.552 billion reais, up from 3.999 billion reais in the same period last year.
The results of Ambev have suffered in recent quarters with weak demand and changes in prices of commodities, such as aluminum, grain and sugar. The competition in Brazil, your main market, was also harder, after Dutch rival Heineken NV have doubled your presence by acquiring the local operation of Kirin Holdings.
"In the third quarter reached a tipping point, driven by a solid performance in most markets in which we operate," the company said, noting that the "worst is behind".
NET had organic growth of 9,6% in the quarter, to 11.362 billion reais.
In Brazil, net revenue increased by 9,7%, with the fall of 4% the volume sold being more than offset by the increase in net revenue per hectolitre of 14,2%.
