Highest level Since 2015-building Sector confidence Rises in January

According to the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), the construction confidence index (ICST) of Brazil rose 2.5 points in January and reached 74.5 points, highest level since June 2015, when it was 76.2 points. The Expectations index (IE-ICST) also increased, 3.4 points, to 84 points. Already the Current Situation index (ISA-CST) rose 1.5 point to 65.3 points, highlighted by the indicator that measures the current business situation. In a note to FGV reported that the National Construction Cost Index (INCC-M) rose 0.29% in January, after a high of 0.36 percent in the previous month.
