Britvic does R$ offer 218 mi for purchase of the beautiful Ischia

São Paulo – the British group Britvic made offer of 218 million dollars to buy the brazilian manufacturer of juices Beautiful Ischia foods, in a strategy to expand its presence in the world''s largest market of juices.
The offer came after the company bought in 2015 the company Brazilian of drinks and food (ebba), holder of the traditional brand of juices Maguary, for 580 million dollars.
According to a statement from Britvic announced this Tuesday, the acquisition of the beautiful Ischia will expand the role of the British group in Brazil in areas such as Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, complementing the presence who had obtained with the purchase of ebba in São Paulo and in the Northeast.
The proposal was announced after the manufacturer of Natural juices One, businessman Ricardo Ermírio de Moraes, selling minority stakes to the Gávea Investimentos, after negotiations with interested as Britvic itself were not successful, informed sources told Reuters on Monday.
In the last 12 months, the beautiful Ischia had revenue of 160 million dollars and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) of about 18,500,000.
Meanwhile, revenue totaled 471 million reais in ebba 2016, pro forma growth of 18,6%, according to Britvic.
The British Group''s expectation is that the completion of the acquisition of the beautiful Ischia occurs at the end of March, after the audit process and analysis of the brazilian company numbers.
