Budweiser beer changes its name to America

Sao Paulo-the Budweiser beer will be called America.
The radical shift in the branding, however, is temporary.
The brand America will be used during the Olympics and also during the American presidential elections.
The change has been applied to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau in the United States, and approved.
A-B InBev said the cans and bottles will win the name America in a limited edition from May 23.
The novelty will be to the Olympics and finish in November, along with the elections.
The brand sponsors the u.s. Olympic team.
The Agency Jones Knowles Ritchie, of New York, took care of the redesign of the Tin.
Already the Anomaly is the agency responsible for the care of Budweiser.
Patriotism
The change is part of a marketing strategy somewhat focused on patriotism.
The motto is "America is in Your Hands", creating an interesting effect: America, literally, in your hands.
On the 1st of June, the first national campaign with the new brand will air in the us.
The can still won other patriotic sayings.
For starters, the packaging bears the Latin phrase "E Pluribus Unum", the American motto which means "From many, one".
Another phrase representing the American Union is "Indivisible since 1776": "indivisible since 1776" (year of independence).
Finally, there is the saying "from the redwood forest to the Gulf stream waters, this land was made for you and me": "redwood forest to the Gulf stream waters, this land was made for you and me".
