AmBev ushers brewery in Ponta Grossa (PR)

Ambev inaugurated on Friday a brewery in Ponta Grossa (PR), result R$ 848 million investment. With a total area of 2.6 million square meters, the factory has a capacity to produce 380 1000 hectolitres of beverages per month.
The unit has four production lines and will manufacture the Adriatic brands, Antarctica, Antarctica Sub Zero, Skol, Brahma Chopp and Original. The brewery employs about 430 people directly. Other 1.5 1000 jobs were generated during its construction.
According to the company, the choice of Ponta Grossa is due to strategic location, close to major consumer markets. In addition, the unit supplies the States of São Paulo and Santa Catarina.
In Paraná, Ambev also has a soft drink factory in Admiral Tamandaré and four direct distribution centres, in Francisco Beltrão, Londrina, São José dos Pinhais and Ponta Grossa.
