TDK will buy American Japanese InvenSense for 1.3 bi

Tokyo-the Japanese electronics group TDK Corp. signed a deal to buy the North American manufacturer of chips InvenSense Inc., which produces motion sensors to Apple and Samsung Electronics, by 1.33 billion dollars.
In a statement released on Wednesday, TDK said it will pay $13 per share to acquire all of InvenSense, the equivalent of a 19,9% award in relation to the paper''s closing price on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Reuters published the TDK was in negotiations for the acquisition of InvenSense.
The agreement allows the Japanese TDK group, which is already a major supplier of components for smartphones, enlarge the offer of sensor technology.
The InvenSense gyroscopes that help design the smartphones to calculate the movement, enabling augmented reality games like Pokemon Go.
