Facebook will open new offices in London

The American Group Facebook announced on Monday that it will open a new Office in London in 2017 and will create 500 jobs, which means a 50% increase in the number of employees in the United Kingdom, despite the uncertainties linked to Brexit.
The announcement, made during the annual Conference of the Confederation of British industry (CBI), is good news for the United Kingdom, after a similar decision adopted recently by Google.
"Britain is one of the best places for a technology company and is an important part of the history of Facebook. We came to London in 2007 with some employees and by the end of next year we will open a new corporate headquarters, "said in a statement Nicola Mendelsohn, Vice President of Facebook.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, celebrated the announcement.
"The commitment of Facebook is a new sign that London is open to talent, innovation," he said, according to the statement from the company.
