Building materials Log prices Drop

According to study conducted by the Department of Economics of the Sincomavi from the INCC/Sinapi, calculated by the Brazil Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE), the month of October registered 0.16% fall in the General level of prices of construction materials in the State of São Paulo against the same month of 2015. The result was the first slump for that month since 2007. In September, the registered variation was positive of 2.01%. The accumulated variation in 2016, from January to October, the general price level builds up 2.95% high, smaller than the index registered in 2015, as the indicator reached 5.07% over the period. Already in the last 12 months, the index that measures the change in prices of the items of construction was in 3.08%. The result is below the achieved last year in Sao Paulo: 4.52%.

The floorings and wall and Cement led the fall of prices in the metropolitan region of São Paulo (MRSP), with 1.81%-and -0.98%, respectively, according to data collected by IBGE. At the national level, in October, was the reduction in prices of coatings ( -1.20%), cement ( -0.16%), brick ( -0.49%) and Material ( -0.04%). Date of 2016 in São Paulo, there was a retreat in prices of coatings ( -0.27%) and cement ( -2.29%).
