81% of Brazilians are optimistic about the economy in 2017

Brazilians are expecting improvement as the financial situation for the next year. According to a survey conducted by the SPC Brazil (credit protection service) and the CNDL (National Confederation of store managers), 81% are optimistic in relation to finances to 2017 in the belief that the country''s economy will improve. The index is 18 percentage points above the last year, when optimists were 63%.

The survey also showed that 53% of respondents who receive 13th salary plan to use it for Christmas shopping, and 42% will spend only part of the value with the holidays, 8% will use everything in gifts and celebrations and 3% on all purchases. 20% haven''t decided how to spend the money. 27% are not going to use any of the 13 for this purpose.
