17% of spending on online shopping already occur via smartphone, reveals research

Mobile devices already add up to almost 170 million units, an increase of almost 10% from 2015, according to a survey from FGV. Other data, this PayPal/Ipsos research, shows that 17% of the total spent on online purchases in Brazil, in the last 12 months, were via smartphones. In 2015, had been 13%. Another point of study reveals that, despite the crisis, 44 percent of adults surveyed online believe that their online spending will increase over the next 12 months.
