Sale of medicinal products should Grow 9% in 2016

Second evaluation of the pharmaceutical industry Union of the State of São Paulo (Sindusfarma), the indication is that, by the end of the year, the industry will have grown 9%, to about 48 billion R$. The initial expectation was an expansion of 8% to 10% in sales of medicines at retail. The result is attributed to the ageing of the population, the largest number of users of health plans and the fast pace of new drug launches. In the last two years, without taking into account discounts granted, high sales of medicines at retail pharmacist was 14%. For 2016, the projected high of 3.22% in storage of ICMS for medicines, or about R$3,09 billion.
