Sibelco Belgium invests in new factory in Brazil

São Paulo-Sibelco Belgium announced on Thursday (28) an investment of approximately r $ 150 million in a new plant of calcium carbonate in the State of São Paulo in Brazil.

The capacity of the new plant is designed for 200 thousand tons of cargo and liquid mineral 35 thousand tons of ultrafine calcium carbonate for the plastic industry, which "will contribute to the reduction of imports of raw materials for the Country".
The company informed that the city will receive the plant, to be built over the next 18 months, has not yet been chosen.
