China will decrease use of chemical fertilizer

Starting this year, fertilizer reduction pilots programs include corn grown in the Northeast and in some parts of Northern and central China, vegetables produced in greenhouses in North China and apples in the North-West and in the area of Bohai Bay, said on Tuesday He Caiwen, an official of the Ministry of agriculture.
