The industry of cookies, pasta, breads and cakes industrialized registered last year a 11.5 percent advance in sales because consumers search for products with higher added value, besides the price replacement, according to the Abimapi (association representing the sector). The sector had an increase of 5% and the total billed by the companies was r $ 32.2 billion. Despite the growth in value, the volume produced and per capita consumption remained stable in relation to 2013. For 2015, with the worsening of the scenario, the projection is that there is a smaller nominal growth of 5% to 6%.
