The Saudi Arabia had suspended the purchase of Brazilian beef in 2012, after an atypical case of mad cow disease.
"The end of the ban on Brazilian beef represents not only the Saudi market opening, but of all countries in the Gulf," said the Ministry in a statement.
The folder also said it intends to put an end to all embargoes made to Brazilian beef.
"The Saudi Arabia was one of the last countries that we need. The last will be Japan, where should we open the market for our processed meat ", also said in a note to Minister Katia Abreu, who is in Saudi Arabia.
