Sale of cars falls in August and has 1st indent YTD

SÃO PAULO-sales of autos and light commercial totaled 312,722 units in August, down 22.87% 405,468 emplacadas units in the same month of last year, when the industry's record. In August, sales of trucks and buses reached 16,485 units, fall of 10.26% over July and high of 13.07% compared to August 2012. In the first eight months, sales of those vehicles have reached 126,022 units, up 12.78 percent over the same period of units 111,742 2012.
If they are coupled with motorcycles, road equipment, agricultural machinery and other vehicles got their plates, the total number of vehicles sold last month reached 481,239 units, down 3.55% of the 498,944 units in July and indentation of 17.14% of the 580,789 vehicles in August 2012.
