Moreno wins food industry

One more company announces investment in Pernambuco. The Group GL ventures, headed by businessman Gerson Lucena, is building in the municipality of Moreno a food mill. The initial investment is of R $ 143 million. Tax incentives were approved this week by the State Council for Industrial, commercial Policy and services (Conditioning).

The details of the project will be carried out by Governor Eduardo Campos, during ceremony celebrating 85 years of the city. The plant will have 24 thousand square meters of constructed area.

During construction, must be generated 200 jobs. When in operation should be generated 400 direct jobs and 800 indirect jobs. The unit has annual revenues cookies designed for $ 175 million.

The processing capacity of the raw material will be of 140 tons per day.Will be three production lines: Cracker, Maria and Cornstarch; Stuffed and buttery; In addition to the Wafer. Shall be produced in all 37 thousand tons per year.

To meet the production line, will be needed daily consumption of five thousand cubic meters of natural gas as well as an estimated 50 traffic vehicles in operation.
