L ' Oréal has Latin America's largest expansion of revenue in the quarter

SÃO PAULO-Latin America was the region that recorded the high French L ' Oréal's revenue during the second quarter, shows preliminary balance sheet published today by the cosmetics manufacturer. The advance was of 13.2%, to 507.7 million euros. Overall, the net revenue of the Group was 4.2% over the period, at 5.81 billion euros.
Secondly appear the countries that make up the Middle East and Africa segment, with growth of 12.8% in the recipe, to 200.6 million euros. Soon after the Eastern European figure, with an increase of 5.1%, which amounted to 355.4 million euros. Asia and the Pacific had increased 4.5%, to 1.05 billion euros.
In the field of developed markets, North America presented higher billing in 4.9%, from 1.37 billion euros. Already Western Europe, despite the crisis that afflicts the region, registered 1.3 percent advance in the recipe, to 1.91 billion euros.
In the first half, L'oreal's net revenue was discharged from 4.7% to bilhõ from 11.74 euros. The Latin America grew by 9.6% and Africa and the Middle East, 12.3%-the two segments with greater advancement. The operating profit, in turn, had an increase of 7.7% and reached 2.04 billion euros, according to L'oreal. The profit "adjusted", only included in the preview, was 1.79 billion euros-high 7.9%.
