Country has increased-2%-in the volume of milk collected

BRASILIA--the volume of milk collected by dairies with some kind of inspection (local, State and/or federal) in Brazil totaled 5.34 billion litres in the second quarter of 2013, according to the Quarterly Survey, the Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE). 1.75 billion liters were acquired in April, 1.76 billion liters in May and 1.81 billion pounds in June.
The volume picked up in the second quarter of 2013 was 2% higher than the purchased in the same period of 2012. The quantity of milk collected in the first half of 2013 presented slight increased from 0.2% in comparison with the first half of 2012.
