Brazil follows as fourth largest automotive market in the world

Swing Jet Dynamics consulting based on formal license plates made until July, shows that the Brazil follows as the fourth-largest automotive market in the world, despite the slowdown of vehicle sales in recent months.
With little more than 2 million licensed cars between January and July, an increase of 2.4% as compared to the same period last year, the Brazilian market follows ahead of Germany, where they were sold 1.87 million units in the first seven months of 2013 – with drop of 6.8%.
Only in July, however, the plates issued in Brazil fell 7.8 percent, to 323.9 million cars and light utility vehicles. The Japan is the third global market, but sales in the country this year, 8.1% retreat totaling 3.15 million cars until July.
China maintains the post handily biggest market in the world. 10.63 million cars were sold in the Chinese market from January to July, a number that surpasses the volume of 17.8% in 2012. Sales in the United States, second largest market, after recovering, marking growth of 8.5 percent this year.
The Jet also brings a ranking of the top selling car brands in the world, led by Toyota, with 3.7 million units until July. The volumes of the Japanese automaker, however, retreated 2 percent this year, while those of Volkswagen, runner-up, show high of 7.4%, reaching 3.4 million cars in the period.
