Tomato falls 15%, and inflation by CPI-S slows down in the 2nd week of may

Inflation measured by the consumer price index-weekly (IPC-S) slowed to 0.38% in the second week of may, a fall of 0.07 percentage point on the outcome of the last disclosure of 0.45%, points on Thursday (16) the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
Five of the eight classes of expenditure components of the index showed a decrease in the rates of change. The main contribution came from food group (0.68% to 0.51%), with an emphasis on vegetables, whose rate was 0.70% for fall of 2.11%.
The main negative influence was the tomato, with falling 15.42%, up from 13.16% indentation of the previous week. Climatic reasons, tomato prices had risen significantly recently.
Falls were recorded in the groups transport (0.07% to -0.07%), clothing (0.99% to 0.84%), health and personal care (1.41% to 1.35%) and housing (0.30% to 0.27%), according to the FGV.
The highlights for each class of expenditure are: urban bus fare ( -0.25% to -0.90%), footwear (0.43% for -0.15%), beauty salon (1.12% to 1.08%) and residential electricity rate ( -0.49% to -0.90%), respectively.
On the other hand, high were recorded in education, reading and recreation ( -0.20% to -0.06%) and communication ( -0.42% to -0.25%).
The Group miscellaneous expenditure repeated the rate of change of the last determination, of 0.20%.
