Serasa points high in trade sales in November

The trade activity indicator, released on Thursday, 05 by Serasa Experian, advanced 1.1 percent in November compared with October, already discounted seasonal effects. Compared to November 2012, the movement of consumers in the shops of the country recorded growth of 6.7%. In the period from January to November, the retailer activity accumulates high of 5.2% compared with the same period last year. According to note released by the company, the mobile segment, consumer electronics and computer equipment pulled the November performance, with high of 1% on October. Then came supermarkets, hypermarkets, food and beverages, with an increase of 0.2%, same result of tissue stores, clothing, footwear and accessories. Three segments had negative performance: vehicles, motorcycles and parts ( -5.2%), fuels and lubricants ( -1%) and building material ( -0.9%).
"The good setting from the labour market (unemployment low and stable with real earnings yield), the current trajectory of reduced levels of consumer delinquencies, the stimuli coming from my house Better program and the entry of the first installment of the 13th salary boosted the retailer activity in November, economists assess the Serasa Experian.
In the year to November, the trade activity index reflects the volume of consultations held by commercial establishments to Serasa Experian's database-expansion of 5.2%, with emphasis on supermarkets, hypermarkets, food and drinks (6.4%), fuels and lubricants (5.1%) and vehicles, motorcycles and parts (3.8%).
