Osram creates packages with stamps that drive consumers to choose LED lamps

The consumer purchase decision by a LED lighting requires clear and precise information, as it is a new technology. Therefore, information on energy saving, the quantity of light emitted in comparison with traditional models, LED light tonality and environments suitable for use of each luminaire are important elements in choosing the right product for every need. Usually, this information is very technical and confuse the consumer at the time of purchase. Thinking of facilitate and guide people to choose the ideal product, OSRAM, German multinational specialized in lighting, developed packaging with clear language to its new portfolio of residential LED lamps.
With clean design and intuitive concept, each piece displays details of comparison between conventional technologies, introduces seals and colorful icons indicating the best environment for each model and its key attributes, in addition to a simple, step-by-step illustrated for installation of the luminaire. The new packaging still possess a closing system with safety lock and an orange stripe around to help identify OSRAM brand, who owns more than eight thousand patents of LEDs around the world. The new fixtures feature a sustainability seal printed on packages, in order to educate the consumer about the benefits of LED technology. That's because the solutions are friends of the environment and ensure low energy consumption, do not emit UV and IR rays and do not contain mercury.
