Wholesale, long life milk fell 4.4 percent in the second half of October

Wholesale, considering the average of all products surveyed by Scot Consultoria, dairy prices were stable in the second half of October, compared with the first half of the month.
The powdered milk, however, recorded the second fall since prices began to climb in March.
A kilo of product was quoted on average by R$14,76, 1.6% less, compared to the average price of the first fifteen days of October.
The milk long life also became cheaper.
The dairy sold the product to R$2,28/liter on average fall of 4.4% in relation to the first half of October.
In addition to the increase in the supply of milk for processing and recovery of stocks, retailer market pressure has also been influencing the dairy products to lower prices.
