Little more than a year after the purchase of the cachaça Ypióca group, the multinational Diageo relaunches brand product line named Ypióca group Brasilizar. Four have been developed with special blends cachaças: Ypióca group Brasilizar classic Silver Ypióca group Brasilizar Gold, Ypióca group Brasilizar Special Reserve Stored gold and Silver special reserve Brasilizar Ypióca group. "This new line is the first which has the thumbprint of the production standard of Diageo. We want to bring more quality to the point of dose, "says Eduardo Bendzius, Director of marketing and sales of Diageo.
The branding agency Landor, based in New York, was responsible for creating the design of the label and packaging versions Ypióca group Brasilizar. The packaging of the new line are inspired in the roots of the brand. The logo, designed by hand by Eugenia Menescal Fields, widow of Dario Borges Telles-second-generation family Telles who created Ypióca group – is emblazoned more handmade and with a small inclination. The labels receive an icon with four interlocked keys that represent the four generations of the family a fifth central key Telles and with the letter "E", of eugenics. "We wanted to show the great history of the brand and pay a tribute to Ypioca founding family creating a key for every generation and a fifth key to Eugenics," says Mark Webb, Manager of design at Landor. The special-purpose reserve line stuffed containers are made manually by artisans of Ceará.
"The new product line brings the new logo with elements that reinforce its history and origin," explains Eduardo Bendzius, Director of marketing and sales of the brand.
