Adjusted Ebitda of Ambev reaches r $ 4.2 billion in the third quarter

Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciations and amortizations) set of Ambev in the third quarter reached r $ 4.2 billion, which means an increase of 9.4% compared with the same period of the previous year. In the first nine months of this year, the adjusted Ebitda was r $ 11 billion, 6.2% higher than the organic result achieved in the same period in 2012. Third quarter net revenues grew 4% in organic terms, totaling r $ 8.4 billion. The adjusted net income of the period was r $ 2.3 billion, representing 8% drop compared to the same quarter of 2012. In the nine first months of 2013, adjusted net income was r $ 6.5 billion, which represents 3.1% drop. The total sales volume of Ambev in the third quarter of 2013 reached 39.2 million hectolitres of beverages. Compared with the same time last year, there was a fall of 3.1%. From January until the end of September, the total sales volume of the company surpassed 116 million hectolitres. Of this total, 83.5 million hectolitres of beer and were 32.6 million hectolitres were (soft drinks, non-alcoholic drinks and non-carbonated).
