Coronavirus: number of daily cases in the world hits record, shows balance

The daily number of new coronavirus-contaminated worldwide hit a record yesterday. According to data from Johns Hopkins University, countries reported 176,000 diagnoses of covid-19, a number that exceeds the second day with the highest rate of new cases (found last Wednesday, with 139,500 positive tests). The numbers were "pulled" by Brazil (more than 30,000 cases), USA (more than 24,000 cases) and India (11,000 cases). In addition, Chile has released more than 30,000 new infected - the number reported so far in the South American country, which had averages 6,000 cases daily. The local government reported, however, that there was a delay in "suspicious" diagnoses. The third day with the highest number of cases, according to Johns Hopkins, also occurred a week ago: on the 11th, more than 138,000 diagnoses were released worldwide. With these figures, the university survey showed that the total number of people infected with coronavirus reached the house of 8.3 million.
