Digital Channels on the Rise

Research by Deloitte shows that retail and consumer goods companies have expanded interaction with consumers through new digital sales channels. Among the companies surveyed, the share of digital sales channels in the overall composition jumped from 12% to 43% in less than a decade. According to the research, the most adopted technologies to engage customers are: e-commerce platform (69%), CRM platform (56%), order management solutions (43%), inventory management solutions (43%) and own applications (42%). The most important communication channels for organizations' strategy are Instagram (63%), Facebook (61%) and Google (46%).
