Senate votes today credit for micro and small businesses

It was postponed to this Friday (24), at 9am, the remote session of the Senate that will vote on the replacement text of the House of Representatives to Bill No. 1,282/2020, which creates the National Program to Support Micro and Small Enterprises (Pronampe) for the development and strengthening of small businesses. According to the President of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (DEM-AP), the reason for the postponement of the session is to give senators more time to analyze the opinion of the rapporteur of the bill, Senator Katia Abreu (PP-TO). "It would be wiser for us to have more of these hours to pass a bill that can be sanctioned," the Speaker of the House said. The measure was voted in the House of Representatives on Wednesday night (22). Alcolumbre is in favor of the project, which provides for the transfer of R$ 10.9 billion of credit to be paid at interest of 3.75% per year, "while applied in credit operations contracted under Pronampe", according to the text under discussion. "These resources will secure jobs, ensure economic stability and provide security for Brazilian workers in this important sector that the bill will encompass." The proposal is original from the Senate, prepared by Senator Jorginho Mello (PL-SC). Therefore, after the consideration on the Senate floor goes to the presidential sanction. On Monday (27), as is customary, Alcolumbre makes meeting with leaders of subtitles with representation in the Senate, by teleconference, to establish the agenda of votes next week. According to him, the intention is to vote on proposals that have urgency and unify bills that have similarity with provisional measures under way in congress.
