Apas and Government Determine Measure

The Paulista Association of Supermarkets (Apas) and the Government of São Paulo, announced that supermarkets throughout the state should sell alcohol gel at cost price from next Monday (23). The agreement determines that bottles of alcohol gel of all sizes will be sold with zero profit margin in the associated markets, in the face of the epidemic of the new coronavirus. The measure does not yet apply to pharmacies and Procon-SP will be responsible for supervising the sale of the product so that no alcohol gel is charged for abusive price in supermarkets.
