São Paulo Trade Will Have A High of 5%

After moving about R$ 720 million in 2019, the Carnival of the city of São Paulo (SP) should register R$ 906 million in sales this year - in commerce and services such as bars, lodging, pharmacies, costumes and street walkers. The survey, from FecomercioSP, predicts a 5% increase over retail trade. Segments such as supermarkets and clothing tend to have increases of 2.5% and 6%, respectively. In addition, the average prices will be 2.58% above inflation than a year ago, based on the IPCA on January 15. However, soft drink and water values fell 5.88%, and beer values fell by 4.11%.
