Heineken Grows 14% in 2019 and Announces New CEO

Heineken brewery posted net income of 2.17 billion euros ($2.37 billion) in 2019. The figure is 14% higher than the $1.91 billion euro gain in the previous year. Revenue totaled 23.97 billion euros, compared to 22.49 billion euros in 2018. Consolidated beer volume has increased by 3.1% on an organic basis in the last year, while the volume of Beers under the Heineken brand advanced 8.3%. The brewery also announces that Dolf van den Brink will assume the presidency of the company for a period of four years. The executive will replace Jean-François van Boxmeer, who will step down on June 1 after 15 years in charge of Heineken.
